Hey Girls! I didn't get the best response to our fun reunion! Only 4 of us could make it on August 29! So Jen and I were thinking about September 25???? We want as many of us that can make it as possible!!! Please everyone check out your schedules and see if you can make it! Just for a few hours! It really will be such a great time! I can't wait to hear what everyone is up too! Aaron want to come too:) If the 25 doesn't work, maybe more people will be in town for the holidays! If that time seems to work better, let me know! Hey all! This blog is for, Melissa, Jill, Brooke, Nicole, Tami, Keri, Anj, Heather, Marcie, Mara and Jaclyn! !!!! I have been talking to Jen Briggs, and we thought it would be fun to have a cheer class of 1999 reunion! Jen couldn't believe that it has been ten years since we have graduated! To crazy!!!!! We thought it would be fun to meet at a restaurant somewhere in WJ so we could all catch up and see what everyone is up too! She is dying to see us all!!! we were thinking August 29, like I said at a restaurant for dinner. Today was Addy's 1 year doctor appointment! She got 4 shots and was such a good girl!!! The doctor was so proud of her development! She is way ahead verbally! Her doctor also said it was time for us to get a front facing car seat! We bought 2 seats today and they are not cheap!!! But we needed to get them, so we decided to get nice ones that will take her up to 8 years old!!! So its worth it in the long run!!! I can't believe how old she is getting! We went out to dinner tonight and it was the first time she got to use it! She loved being able to see us and look out the window! Its a whole new car riding experience for little Addy now :)

ADDY TURNED ONE YEAR OLD ON MAY 27! I CANT BELIEVE IT'S BEEN A YEAR! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN AT HER PARTY! SHE GOT LOTS OF REALLY CUTE TOYS AND CLOTHES! When Brody went to wake Addy up this morning, this is how he found her sleeping :) Her bum was straight up in the air! She looks just like a little stink bug!!! Now that she is rolling around and army crawling, she is all over the place in her crib. Every morning we find her stuck in the corner, her head at the opposite end, and she never has her blankets on her! This one tops it for the best sleeping position! She was as comfy as can be :) I just love her, everyday she makes us laugh!!!

We had a "Trend Event" at work on Saturday and the theme was "Spring into color". So We decided to wear fuchsia! It is so nice to not have to be in our ugly lab coats all the time, so we all look so different out of uniform. Everyone looks so cute in real clothes. If you are looking cute, or having a good hair day, or just wearing a cute pair of shoes, our friend Taylor will tell you that you are veerrry stuck up, and that's a compliment! It means you look really cute today. So now that is the cosmetic saying! So on the Trend Event, we were all feeling "Veerrry Stuck Up" . What a fun night! Brody was sweet enough to buy me my very own copy of Twilight(the DVD)today! I had forgot how much I LOVE EDWARD!!! I forgot how great some of those scenes in the movie were! Kimi and Russ came over to watch it with us, which was fun because the guys haven't read the books or have seen the movie. Russ was into it, but I think Brody was bored. Great show, great soundtrack! I can't wait to see NEW MOON!!! It was also a fun night with my best friend Kimi! If you want to know why, you have to go to her blog to find out........

My mom's birthday is on St.Patricks Day! Every year since I could drive Alex and I would go to my mom's work and bring her a yummy, gorgeous cake to share with her friends! (Of course the cake is green). She works at Olympus High School, so anyone who has ever worked at a school knows that teachers LOVE food! Well this year was extra fun, because Miss Addyson got to come along! My mom was so excited to see her! She looked so cute in her "I'm a McCutie" shirt! Happy birthday mom! I hope you had a great day!!!

3. WHAT WERE YOUR REACTIONS? Extremely happy!!! We had been trying for a long time!
4. HOW OLD WERE YOU? 27
5. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT? I had been at Clinique school and was feeling flu like symptoms. I told my educator that she had better sit me close to the door because I have been throwing up a lot! I told everybody to stay away from me cause they didn't want what I got!! In days before the school, I just couldn't seem to get enough sleep! I was sleeping for 16 hours and STILL feeling so tired! When I came home from school, Brody was doing some house work( cause I hadn't been keeping up on it) and he had brought home a prego test for me. I told him he was nuts because we were told we couldn't get pregnant on our own. So I was kind of mad at him for setting me up with another disappointment! Sure enough, I did it and the test was POSITIVE!! We didn't believe it so we went to the hospital and had a blood test!! The doc said for sure positive! It was the best day :)

8. ACTUAL DATE BABY WAS BORN? May 27, 2008
9. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS? HECK YES!!! I was throwing up for the first 4 to 5 months, but then I started to feel better and actually enjoy being pregnant, and then then the placenta abruption happened :(
10. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE? Fruit!!! Pineapple and the pineapple juice! And cereal! The more sugar on the cereal the better!!!
11. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST? My dog probably. Anybody that knows me knows that Chloe was my baby! When I was pregnant I wanted to get rid of her! I could smell her, no matter if she just had a bath or not! She smelled like dog and that mad me sick!
12. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD'S SEX? Female
13. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING? No! I knew I was having a girl! I had dreams all the time about my baby! In all the dreams, the baby was a gorgeous little girl:)
14. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY? A blasted 35!!!! I still need to lose about another 10!
15. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER? Kind of a funny story! I had my first baby shower at my moms house on May 3. That was when the placenta abruption happened. I was rushed to the hospital right in the middle of the shower. I was on bed rest in the hospital, so all the rest of my showers were cancelled :( We rescheduled them after she was born.
16. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW? I knew
17. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY? YES! Of course the abruption which causes the placenta to pull away from the uterus, which causes you to bleed! So a month of bed rest was not very fun! Then I started to get toxemia, so my doctor decided to start me and deliver the baby at 37 weeks! It was scary, but she was just fine!!!
18. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH? St. Marks Hospital
19. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? I had a 14 hour labor! But my placenta dropped down and I was going to deliver that first before the baby, so they had to take me in and do an emergency C- section! They had her out in like 10 minutes!!!
20. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? Brody
21. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? Just Brody! Even if I had a regular birth is was going to be just him.
22. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? C-section
23. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Duh! Anyone who knows me knows that my pain tolerance is so weak! I took all the drugs they would give me!!

So funny, Brody and I went to Olive Garden tonight after his b-ball game and got some dinner. I always get a lime in my diet coke. We thought we would see how Addy would like the taste of lime. Okay, we just wanted to see her make a funny face. She was so cute, not quite sure if she liked it. I put it in my drink after, and she wouldn't take her eyes off of it! I hope this doesn't make me a bad mom for thinking this was hilarious!!!

SO MUCH FUN!!! Shannon, her friend Kelly, Lyndsay, Kimi and her mom and I went to see "TWILIGHT" last night at the midnight showing. First we went and had breakfast at Village Inn, which by the way, we had terrible service and almost had to walk out without eating. But we were all so excited that it didn't ruin our night. We pre bought our tickets thank goodness. The movie was great, and I thought Rob Pattinson did a great job as EDWARD. He had really big shoes to fill :) The rest of the cast was great. Who'd of thought EMMETTwould have been so hot! Lyndsay and I were going ga ga over him. Lyndsay was the only one who had not read the book, so it was fun to get her perspective on everything. We have waited a long time for this movie to come out, and it was well worth it! Plus, it was a fun girls night out, even though I was so tired the next day. I can't wait for "NEW MOON" to come out, hopefully we all don't have to wait to long. I NEED MY EDWARD FIX!!!!

Blast from the Past

October 2006, I hosted a murder mystery night at our house. Our house was brand new, so I loved having get togethers with our friends. We invited, Kimi(aka Barbie Q), Russ(aka Dan Dragnet), Shannon(aka Peggy Sue), Wes(aka Chubby Cheddar), Lyndsay(aka Tiara Diamond), Garrett(aka Ivan Spudnik) and of course me(aka Bobby Sox) and Brody(aka Johnny Angel). It was one of the first times that the eight of us hung out. The theme of the the murder mystery was 1950's, everyone came in costume. I had prizes for the the best costume, and the winner of the mystery. Lyndsay won best costume, Kimi won the game. We ate hamburgers, and milk shakes and even listened to 50's music. We had so much fun that night. We should totally do another one. The eight of us have got to be such good friends since then. I am so happy to have all of them in my life. It's even funner now that we all have kids. These are some pictures that I found from that night.

So, am I a bad mommy because this is my babysitter? She can sit in front of the T.V. for hours! She loves to watch sports because it moves fast and there is a lot of color. It is seriously the only way I can clean the house or eat dinner! T.V. is the best babysitter ever!! I need to get some baby Einstein videos or something, then I won't feel so guilty letting her watch so much T.V. at such a young age. I can't help but laugh every time I walk by her watching. She looks like a little slug:)

Brody turned 27 on August 23. We had such a fun night! We went to dinner at Macaroni grill with Russ, Kimi and Beckham. ONE lady sang happy birthday to him in Italian (thanks to Kimi). Brody was so embarrassed. Anybody that knows Brody knows that he does not like attention brought to him, especially in a large crowd. It was so funny! After dinner we went bowling. We haven't bowled in a long time, so everybody kind of sucked it up. I only broke 100 once. It was fun taking the kids though. They loved cosmic bowling. Addy didn't know which way to look! It was so cute, and Beckham had fun with the florescent yellow bowling ball.

When we got home, Addy was so tired I just put her straight to bed. Then I gave him his birthday present. Not what you think, dirty minds... we got him a new xbox 360 headset!!! The old one broke. I think he liked it:)... Addy and I love you so much Brody, and hope your day was great! I couldn't ask for a better husband and father for Addy. Your the best!!!

Baby Blues...

I started back to work this week after having three and a half months off:( It has been so hard. I feel like Addy is going to forget me!!! She is starting to smile and coo, and do all sorts of fun things now. Of course, just when she starts getting REAL fun I have to go back to work. I get through the day by watching the clock for her feedings. She eats every 4 hours, so I know that in 2 feedings I get to come home:) It really does help! Luckily, she doesn't have to go to a daycare, Brody and I have worked it out to be with her Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday we might have Russ (Kimi's husband) watch her for a few hours until Brody can get home, and Saturday my parents will have her. They can't wait!!! I am trying to find something to do from home. if anyone has any ideas, let me know. For all you moms that have to go back to work after having a baby...... IT SUCKS!!! I miss her every second!!!

What a wonderful day! Addy was blessed today by her great grandpa. It was so emotional, in a good way. I have been to tons of baby blessings, but when it's your own baby, WOW, it just hits a different spot. After the blessing we all went to my Nana's and Pa's (Addy's great Nana and Pa) house for some yummy cake and punch. It was so nice to have all the support and love from my family and friends. Addy is already so blessed to have so many people in her life that love her so much. Thank you again to everyone, who made it a special day for her.

So Kimi and I took the kids and went to breakfast at Ruth's diner. Which by the way, if you have never been there, I totally recommend it. We went early and sat on the patio. It was so beautiful and not hot at all. I almost needed a jacket. After breakfast, we met Katie and her son Brayden, her sister and her daughter Kennedy , at the zoo for the very first time, for Beckham and Addy. Addy pretty much slept the whole time, but Beckham was so cute! He really couldn't see things that weren't moving like elephants and rinos, but he loved the monkey's! It was so fun watching him watch them move around. He had a blast! I know that the kids are kind of young to go to the zoo, but I think this trip was 10% for the kids and 90% for the mommys (we like to take there pictures at different places). I can't wait to go again next year. What a fun tradition!

We had a long day of visiting relatives on Father's Day so Addy was real cranky. So I decided to give her a bath when we got home before I put her down to bed. SHE LOVED IT!!! Her feet barley touched the water and she stopped screaming and got real big eyes. She is getting so big.

It was a rough start, but we made it!!! Addyson J. was born on May 27, 2008. She was 5 pounds 4 ounces, three weeks early. Her due date was June 18. I was in the middle of my very first baby shower when I started bleeding real, real bad. We rushed to the hospital and ended up staying the next ten days! I had placenta abruption. I was on bed rest the rest of the pregnancy. On top of all that, I started to get toxemia, which meant I got to be induced. I had a fourteen hour labor and ended up having a c-section. They thought I was going to deliver the placenta first, which could harm or even kill the baby. The doctor had her out in ten minutes. This is Addy getting ready to come home from the hospital at a whopping 4 pounds 14 ounces. She is worth every minute of all that pain and stress!!!
